Just leave the car behind: With immediate effect and initially for the next three years, the Bad Nenndorf Tourist Information Office is offering two electric cargo bikes for free, daily rental: e.g. to transport shopping, explore the surrounding area or simply to try out an electric cargo bike for the first time.
A contribution to nature conservation "Climate change, environmental protection and electric mobility are topics that move us and have become an integral part of our daily lives and the news. With the rental of the cargo bikes, we are setting up another service in this context for all citizens, tourists, rehab and day guests," explains Mirja Engert, Head of Tourist Information Bad Nenndorf.
Free of charge thanks to sponsorship The electrically assisted cargo bikes have a transport box with a load capacity of 80 to 100 kg. A small bench seat and two seat belts for children are also provided. The bikes can be rented for up to two working days or over a weekend by people aged 18 and over. The bikes are handed out on presentation of a valid ID card and a deposit of 100 euros to cover any damage that may occur. "Our sincere thanks go to the numerous sponsors who have made this project possible through their participation. The realization was made possible by our cooperation partner Green Miles Media - Elektromobilität durch Sponsoring with headquarters in Wunstorf," explains Engert.
Donations welcome Anyone who would still like to leave a donation is welcome to hand it over to the Bad Nenndorf Tourist Information team. All donations will be given to the Tafel Bad Nenndorf in the first year and to the Tierschutz Bad Nenndorf und Umgebung e.V. in the following year. After the third year of lending, the children's charity ICH e.V. will receive the donations received.
